About the Role
You will join a high-performing Industrial AI team, bringing advanced analytics, generative AI, and data science expertise to a wide range of business areas. Projects may include:
• Analysing data from large-scale industrial equipment and assets
• Designing and analysing experiments to support R&D and product development
• Building financial models and forecasting tools
• Developing and supporting AI-powered software solutions
This is a hands-on data science role where you will directly influence business decisions through high-quality analysis, model development, and strategic insight.
What You’ll Do
• Deliver end-to-end data science solutions across multiple business domains
• Scope, design, and lead smaller AI/data science projects
• Provide technical guidance and advisory support to stakeholders across the organisation
• Contribute to the design and improvement of digital tools, processes, and modelling frameworks
• Promote Data Science and AI best practices and innovation across the business
• Collaborate with global teams and engage with stakeholders of varying seniority
This position suits someone who enjoys creative problem-solving, translating data opportunities into business value, and working with diverse teams.
Requirements
Essential:
• Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, AI, or a STEM field (e.g., Maths, Physics, Engineering, Chemistry)
• 2+ years’ proven experience applying data science/AI in an industry or engineering setting
• Strong hands-on experience in Python for data science and machine learning
• Experience with Generative AI (models, workflows, or tooling)
• Solid understanding of data quality considerations and practical constraints in real-world applications
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
• Experience in consulting or analytics translation roles
• Ability to bridge complex technical concepts with business needs
