Job Title – Data Scientist Location – Sterling Heights, Michigan 48312 Duration – 12+ months contract position, with the possibility of extension Shift Time – Standard 9/80 • • • Onsite • • • Job Summary: Position Overview: Work as part of a team designing, building, and maintaining data infrastructure, ensuring accurate and timely data accessibility for teams and applications, often involving large datasets and complex systems. Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure, including databases, data warehouses, and data pipelines • Collect data from various sources (databases, APIs, etc.) and implement efficient data pipelines to transform raw data into usable formats such as dashboards and associated reports and insights • Ensure that data is stored securely, efficiently, and in a manner that is accessible for analysis and reporting • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data by implementing data validation and quality control processes • Optimize data pipelines for speed, scalability, and performance, ensuring that data is available when and where it is needed • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure that data infrastructure meets business needs • Troubleshoot issues with data infrastructure, monitor system performance, and perform regular maintenance to ensure smooth operation • Support configuration control, documentation, and change impact analysis on the business data architecture model • Identify Authoritative Source Of Truth (ASOT) databases and connectors to replicate data from ASOTs to Midas and/or AWS Cloud environments through data transformation within Power BI Required Skills: • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Proven ability to work within collaborative teams where contributions are critical to success • Exceptional analytical skills with knowledge of: - Probability and statistics - Applied mathematics - Mathematical programming (linear, nonlinear, integer) - Network analysis - Queuing theory - Economic evaluation • Proficiency with: - Power BI - Visual Basic - MS Excel - MATLAB / Simulink - Mathcad - MagicDraw - Midas - AWS / AWS Redshift - SSAS - Alation - Dataiku - Oracle - SQL • Familiarity with Atlassian Jira or ServiceNow • Proficiency with server usage and troubleshooting • Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work independently to research, analyze, and form solutions • Ability to translate data into actionable information and data-driven recommendations • Experience developing data models and process flows while collaborating with engineering and business stakeholders to document and validate current-state (“As-Is”) business processes • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment • Ability to develop solutions to complex problems • Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures • Experience developing requirements for data collection and downstream use of data • Working knowledge of technical concepts, methodologies, architectures, and technical standards • Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills Preferred Skills: • Experience with structured problem-solving techniques • Knowledge of technical requirements and systems relevant to Combat Vehicles • Experience working with development teams • Knowledge of Agile metrics and reporting practices • 1+ years of Scrum/Agile management experience • In-depth knowledge of engineering functions Required Experience: • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience Preferred Experience: • 10+ years of relevant work experience Required Education: • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Management, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent Education: • Bachelor’s Degree in: - Data Management - Data Science - Mathematics - Statistics Preferred Education: • Master’s Degree in: - Mathematics - Statistics - Business - Engineering - Physical / Applied Sciences - Management disciplines including: • Business Administration • Accounting • Finance • Economics • Management Information Technology Required Skills & Experience: • Experience designing, building, and maintaining data infrastructure including databases – 6+ years • Proficiency with AWS Medallion architecture including AWS Redshift – 6+ years • Proficiency with data cataloging tools such as Collibra – 3+ years • Proficiency with data transformation tools such as Dataiku – 3+ years • Proficiency with dashboarding tools such as Power BI or Tableau – 6+ years • Experience collecting data from various sources and implementing efficient data pipelines – 6+ years • Experience troubleshooting data infrastructure issues, monitoring performance, and performing maintenance – 6+ years Company Overview: • Infojini Consulting is a Staffing and Recruitment company and incorporated in Baltimore, MD. • Infojini caters various hospitals, health & wellness centers, pharmacy, and medical facilities over fifty states across the United States
