Data Analytics Research Scientist – Healthcare domain Experience:-5+ Years Location:-Remote, US About the Role We are looking for a Data Analytics Research Scientist with deep Medicare Advantage (MA) Stars forecasting expertise to develop advanced predictive models for healthcare quality programs. The role focuses on measure-level and contract-level forecasting, Test & Learn experimentation, causal inference, and predictive analytics using Python/R. The ideal candidate will have a strong payer or health plan background and recent experience working with healthcare data while ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Own the year-end MA Stars forecasting model with measure-level and contract-level predictions. Develop advanced statistical and machine learning models for healthcare analytics. Lead the Test & Learn pilot framework including experiment design, patient identification, and evaluation. Apply causal inference techniques to evaluate interventions and business outcomes. Build scalable analytics solutions using Python and/or R. Collaborate with clinical, product, and engineering teams. Ensure PHI/HIPAA-compliant handling of healthcare data. Present analytical insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of relevant experience. Research Scientist with MA Stars Forecasting & Modeling expertise. Deep payer or health plan background. Python and/or R. Advanced Statistical Analysis. Machine Learning. Causal Inference. Predictive Modeling. PHI / HIPAA-compliant data handling practices. HL7 ADT message format knowledge. Recent experience in Healthcare data domain. Nice to Have Databricks or AWS experience. FHIR interoperability knowledge. SQL for healthcare analytics. Power BI or Tableau.
