This role requires high intellectual curiosity, a passion for data, and the ability to continuously learn and apply new concepts, methods, and technologies.The Data Scientist collaborates across teams to translate business complexity into data-driven solutions, supports agile development practices, and contributes to the development of analytical and AI-enabled software products.Key Responsibilities • Work with large volumes of raw and structured data across distributed systems • Apply statistical analysis, data modeling, mining, and visualization techniques • Develop and maintain machine learning and AI-based solutions • Provide input to user-story prioritization through new ideas and data-driven strategies • Collaborate with cross-functional and virtual teams to achieve business goals • Translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions • Support Agile and DevOps development practices • Contribute to the development of industrialized analytical software products • Uphold and promote company culture, values, and vision Required Skills & QualificationsRequired Skills: • Strong ability to analyze and process large datasets • Proficiency in R and/or Python • Experience with statistical analysis and statistical software • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and at least one AI building block • Experience with data modeling, mining, and production data processes • Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau • Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments • Strong collaboration and communication skills Preferred / Additional Skills: • Experience with distributed computing tools such as Hive or Hadoop • Exposure to software engineering and analytical product development • Knowledge of DevOps pipelines and modern data architectures • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution Education & Experience Requirements • Proven training in computer engineering, computer science, econometrics, mathematics, or a related field • Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing architectures • Experience developing artificial intelligence or machine learning applications • Background in data processing, analysis, and software engineering Travel Requirement • Less than 10% travel required BenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401k Retirement FundAbout the CompanyA leading home furnishing company offering affordable, high-quality products with a strong commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.
