This role requires high intellectual curiosity, a passion for data, and the ability to continuously learn and apply new concepts, methods, and technologies.The Data Scientist collaborates across teams to translate business complexity into data-driven solutions, supports agile development practices, and contributes to the development of analytical and AI-enabled software products.Key Responsibilities
β’ Work with large volumes of raw and structured data across distributed systems
β’ Apply statistical analysis, data modeling, mining, and visualization techniques
β’ Develop and maintain machine learning and AI-based solutions
β’ Provide input to user-story prioritization through new ideas and data-driven strategies
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional and virtual teams to achieve business goals
β’ Translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions
β’ Support Agile and DevOps development practices
β’ Contribute to the development of industrialized analytical software products
β’ Uphold and promote company culture, values, and vision
Required Skills & QualificationsRequired Skills:
β’ Strong ability to analyze and process large datasets
β’ Proficiency in R and/or Python
β’ Experience with statistical analysis and statistical software
β’ Knowledge of machine learning concepts and at least one AI building block
β’ Experience with data modeling, mining, and production data processes
β’ Familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau
β’ Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
β’ Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred / Additional Skills:
β’ Experience with distributed computing tools such as Hive or Hadoop
β’ Exposure to software engineering and analytical product development
β’ Knowledge of DevOps pipelines and modern data architectures
β’ Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Education & Experience Requirements
β’ Proven training in computer engineering, computer science, econometrics, mathematics, or a related field
β’ Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing architectures
β’ Experience developing artificial intelligence or machine learning applications
β’ Background in data processing, analysis, and software engineering
Travel Requirement
β’ Less than 10% travel required
