Role description
Data Scientist / Analytics Lead – Gaming (Onsite, S. Palm Beach County)
W2 position GC holder/USC ONLY! 100% ONSITE!
If you love turning messy, real‑time player data into “do this now” decisions, this is that role.
This team builds games where decisions get made daily based on what the data says — not once a quarter when a slide deck is due.
• Own the game and business KPIs end to end — define them, monitor them, and improve them.
• Build and evolve dashboards and analytics that Game Design and Leadership actually use every day.
• Analyze player behavior, game performance, and experiments (A/B tests) to find what’s working and what’s not.
• Spot trends, anomalies, and opportunities fast — and help the team act on them.
• Turn complex data into clear, concise stories that drive decisions.
• Partner closely with Game Designers, Product, and Management in a fast-moving, iterative environment.
• Strong analytical instincts and independent problem-solver.
• Comfortable working with imperfect, evolving data and making calls anyway.
• You’ve influenced decisions before — not just reported numbers.
• Bachelor’s in Statistics, Applied Math, Data Science, or related field.
• Proficient with SQL, Tableau or Power BI, Excel, and Python or R.
• Hands-on experience with A/B testing and performance measurement.
• Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, or AI.
• Familiarity with gaming or online player data (slots a plus).
• Experience with Snowflake or modern cloud data stacks.
• Master’s degree for senior-level consideration.
This is not a back-office reporting role.
You’ll sit close to the games, the players, and the decisions expected to move quickly, ask sharp questions, and shape outcomes in real time.
If you want to see your work show up directly in how games perform and how players engage, this is where you’ll feel it.
