Data Scientist / Senior Data Scientist – GenAI, Python & Azure • Data Scientist: 5+ years of experience • Senior Data Scientist: 8+ years of experience Location- London, UK Work Model- Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite per Week Contract Duration -12 Months Job Overview We are seeking experienced Data Scientists / Senior Data Scientists with strong expertise in GenAI, Python, and Azure to join a large-scale AI transformation initiative based in London. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML and Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions within enterprise environments. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, ML Engineers, Product Teams, and cross-functional technical teams to deliver scalable and impactful AI solutions. Experience within the Insurance domain is highly preferred. Required Skills • GenAI / Large Language Models (LLMs) • Python • Azure / Azure OpenAI • Machine Learning • Prompt Engineering • Data Science & Model Development Nice to Have • Insurance industry experience • Experience with GPT, BERT, LangChain, RAG, and Vector Databases • Azure ML / Azure AI Studio exposure Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into AI/ML-driven solutions. • Design, build, train, and optimize Machine Learning and GenAI models for enterprise-scale applications. • Develop and implement LLM-based solutions, including prompt engineering and model evaluation strategies. • Work closely with ML Engineers and Data Teams to support data acquisition, preprocessing, feature engineering, and pipeline development. • Evaluate model performance using relevant KPIs and continuously improve model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. • Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AI/ML models in production environments. • Contribute to AI solution architecture, model governance, and best practices for scalable AI implementation. • Communicate technical findings, recommendations, and project updates effectively to stakeholders and leadership teams. • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, GenAI, and Machine Learning technologies and contribute innovative ideas to the team.
