Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Data Scientist – LLM for a global enterprise client in the energy sector. As part of a newly formed Data Science and Machine Learning Capability Center, this role offers the opportunity to design, deploy, and scale advanced AI solutions in a production environment. The Data Scientist will collaborate with top-tier engineers, data scientists, and research partners to transform proof-of-concept models into robust, real-world data products that drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and deploy data science and machine learning solutions on enterprise-scale platforms.
• Build full-stack data science applications and tools using deep learning and large language models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform prototypes into production-ready digital products.
• Partner with research and engineering groups to operationalize data-driven solutions that support key business initiatives.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling to uncover insights and optimize performance.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through regular audits, reviews, and adherence to digital quality standards.
• Evaluate new data science methods, frameworks, and tools to enhance capability and performance continuously.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing and best practices within the organization’s Center of Excellence and Community of Practice.
Qualifications:
• Master’s or Ph.D. in a STEM discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field preferred).
• Proven expertise in Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and multimodal Large Language Models.
• Proficiency in Python with hands-on experience using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong understanding of machine learning and statistical modeling at a production scale.
• Experience developing and deploying AI solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Working knowledge of DevOps, Agile methodologies, and MLOps frameworks.
• Familiarity with data strategy, governance, and information management concepts is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities.
