Job Title: Data Scientist (Marketing Analytics)

Our client is seeking a Data Scientist to support the Business Marketing Groupβs. This team focuses on MarTech, small and medium business marketing, and business education. The role requires strong SQL and scripting skills (Python/R) to conduct exploratory data analysis, interpret experiment results, and identify opportunities for increased impact.
Top 3 Must-Have Skills
β’ Experience working with large-scale data sources.
β’ Experience in media mixed modeling, optimization, communicating Research
β’ Strong SQL and Python or R expertise.
β’ Strong business insight and ability to translate requirements into actionable analysis.
Good-to-Have Skills
β’ Marketing knowledge or business studies background.
β’ Experience with infrastructure/data systems (helpful but not required).
Minimum Qualifications
β’ BA/BS in Engineering, Statistics, Math, Business, or a related field.
β’ 7+ years of experience in analytics or a similar field.
β’ 4+ years of hands-on SQL experience.
β’ Strong problem-solving abilities and proven track record of deriving actionable business insights from data.
β’ Ability to communicate complex data issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Demonstrated experience converting high-level requirements into meaningful analyses, visualizations, and tools.
β’ Capable of learning and applying new tools, skills, and concepts.
β’ Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
β’ High attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ MBA or graduate degree in a quantitative field.
β’ 5+ years of statistical experience (e.g., attribution models, A/B testing, lift analysis).
