Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Data Scientist / ML Engineer – GenAI (CCIB) -Software Engineer 4 - Contingent to join their team. As a Data Scientist / ML Engineer – GenAI (CCIB) -Software Engineer 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the Data & Analytics department supporting innovative AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, collaborative spirit, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Data Scientist / ML Engineer – GenAI (CCIB) -Software Engineer 4 - Contingent Location: Charlotte, NC What's the Job? - Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. - Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. - Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. - Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to develop innovative AI and data solutions. - Design, develop, and implement solutions using Python or Java, leveraging libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, and Scikitlearn, including building and evaluating machine learning models like Random Forest and XGBoost. What's Needed? - 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education. - Strong SQL and data analysis skills with proficiency in Python or Java for data science and ML workloads. - Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and model development, including AI-assisted techniques and generative AI models. - Ability to work independently from problem definition to solution delivery, with experience in end-to-end SDLC ownership. - Knowledge of Gen AI concepts and solutions, with 1-3 years of relevant exposure preferred.
