Data Scientist

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and generate actionable insights to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in statistics, data analysis, machine learning, and programming, along with the ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources • Build, validate, and deploy statistical and machine learning models • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies • Develop predictive, classification, and forecasting models • Translate complex data findings into clear business insights and recommendations • Collaborate with data engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders • Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present results • Optimize and maintain existing models for performance and accuracy • Stay updated with the latest data science tools, techniques, and best practices Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field • Strong programming skills in Python or R • Experience with SQL and relational databases • Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra • Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc.) • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Knowledge of deep learning, NLP, or LLMs • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments • Domain experience (Finance, Healthcare, Retail, Government, etc.)
