Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and generate actionable insights to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in statistics, data analysis, machine learning, and programming, along with the ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
β’ Build, validate, and deploy statistical and machine learning models
β’ Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
β’ Develop predictive, classification, and forecasting models
β’ Translate complex data findings into clear business insights and recommendations
β’ Collaborate with data engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders
β’ Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present results
β’ Optimize and maintain existing models for performance and accuracy
β’ Stay updated with the latest data science tools, techniques, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
β’ Strong programming skills in Python or R
β’ Experience with SQL and relational databases
β’ Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra
β’ Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms
β’ Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc.)
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
β’ Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
β’ Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
β’ Knowledge of deep learning, NLP, or LLMs
β’ Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
β’ Domain experience (Finance, Healthcare, Retail, Government, etc.)
