Job Title: Data Scientist Address: Manassas, VA 20110 Payrate: Max pay rate of $84/hr Work Schedule: 9/80 NO TO C2C PARTNERSHIPS! Position Description • Role involves contributing to enterprise-level complex business solutions. • Focus on developing AI and machine learning enterprise-grade solutions. • Requires 6+ years of professional experience in building and deploying machine learning algorithms. • Emphasis on AI/ML and large language models (LLMs). • Responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying robust ML algorithms to solve business problems in: • Supply chain • Factory operations • Workforce management • Logistics • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable solutions. Skills Required • Own end-to-end solutions: design, develop, and deploy ML algorithms, including LLMs. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements. • Conduct data discovery and analysis: clean, preprocess, and transform raw data. • Ensure data quality and integrity. • Produce visualizations and insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. • Develop and train LLMs using deep learning techniques (e.g., transformers, RNNs). Skills Preferred • Experience with large datasets and high-performance computing environments. • Strong understanding of data modeling, statistical inference, and ML techniques. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Experience with Docker and containerization. • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and big data processing (AWS Glue, Apache Spark). Experience Required • 6+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist (focus on generative AI and ML). • Strong understanding of LLMs and their applications in AI. • Experience with Agent + RAG systems in data science and AI. • Proficiency in Python/R and ML libraries (LangChain, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.). • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Dataiku). Education • Required: Bachelor’s degree. • Preferred: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. • Additional Information • Candidate should be able to ingest COTS systems documentation (user guides, development manuals, DB ERDs, training material, etc.). • Create application data mapping to a business normalization standard (OAGI) to provide standardized data taxonomy and dictionaries for enterprise data mapping solutions. • Enables: • Standardization: OAGIS ensures consistent data models for reliable sharing across applications. • Interoperability: BODs establish a common "business language" for information exchange between systems.
