Data Scientist Location: London, UK (Onsite – 2-3 days/week) Job Type: Sub-Contract (3 months, extendable) Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist / Machine Learning Model Builder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models to address complex business challenges and support data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate closely with data science and cross-functional teams to translate analytical insights into scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities β€’ Design, develop, implement, and validate machine learning models β€’ Analyze large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements β€’ Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve model performance and accuracy Required Skills & Qualifications β€’ Strong proficiency in Python, R, or other machine learning programming languages β€’ Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and model evaluation techniques β€’ Hands-on experience with data modeling and performance evaluation β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning β€’ Master’s degree or PhD is preferred Preferred Skills β€’ Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or Keras β€’ Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques
