Role description
• THIS POSITION REQUIRES WORKING DIRECTLY ON OUR W2 (F1 OPT, USC, GC, H4) NO THIRD PARTY! Data Scientist We are seeking a Data Scientist to join a growing analytics and AI team focused on solving complex business challenges through data-driven insights. This individual will leverage statistical analysis, machine learning, and generative AI technologies to develop scalable solutions, drive decision-making, and uncover opportunities across large and diverse datasets. Responsibilities • Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. • Develop, test, and deploy predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and advanced analytical solutions. • Use SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyze large-scale datasets. • Design and execute statistical analyses, including hypothesis testing, regression modeling, forecasting, and experimentation. • Build and evaluate LLM-powered and Generative AI solutions to support business and operational objectives. • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical approaches. • Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences. • Monitor model performance and recommend improvements based on results and business outcomes. • Maintain data quality and adhere to enterprise governance and security standards. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics. • Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, machine learning, and model development. • Advanced SQL skills with experience working with large and complex datasets. • Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies. • Strong foundation in statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, regression, classification, clustering, and experimental design. • Experience building and validating machine learning models. • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with healthcare, insurance, pharmacy, clinical, or related datasets. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG architectures, AI agents, or GenAI application development. • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python visualization libraries. Nice-to-Have: Healthcare domain knowledge, payer/provider experience, pharmacy analytics, clinical data, or population health analytics.
