Data Scientist with Python ML Pyspark some Gen AI Palo Alto, CA -Onsite Rate Range $40 to $45 hr W2 All Inc About the Role We are looking for a passionate and skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic analytics and AI team in Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Machine Learning, Python, PySpark, and exposure to Generative AI technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions that power intelligent business decisions. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and optimize machine learning and predictive models to solve business challenges. • Work with large-scale datasets using PySpark, optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability. • Develop and implement Generative AI use cases (e.g., LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering). • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to identify data opportunities. • Communicate insights clearly through visualizations and presentations to stakeholders. • Stay updated on latest trends in AI/ML and apply innovative approaches to improve model performance. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. • Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch). • Proven experience with PySpark for big data processing. • Hands-on experience in Machine Learning model development and deployment. • Exposure to Generative AI (LLMs, fine-tuning, prompt design, or related frameworks). • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). • Familiarity with MLOps frameworks and model deployment pipelines. • Experience in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
