Role description
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Data Scientist II to join a dynamic team focused on Real-World Data (RWD) analytics. The ideal candidate will lead analytical efforts to derive insights from large healthcare datasets, including claims, EMRs, registries, and surveys. This role involves designing and executing data-driven solutions that support scientific and business decision-making. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement RWD-based technology solutions for scientific and business challenges. • Analyze large, complex datasets using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques. • Develop visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively. • Collaborate cross-functionally to support broader initiatives with RWD expertise. • Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in data science. • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, including data security and GxP standards. Required Qualifications: • M.S. in HEOR, Epidemiology, or related field with 3–5 years of experience, or Ph.D. with 2+ years. • Strong programming skills in SAS, SQL, R, or Python. • Experience with data platforms like Hadoop, AWS, CML, and Git. • Proven ability to apply advanced analytics in real-world healthcare data. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Background in life sciences or pharmaceutical industry experience. • Familiarity with machine learning, automation, and data visualization tools.
