Role description
Responsibilities
• Ability to work with large amounts of raw data and feel comfortable with working with different programming languages.
• High intellectual curiosity with ability to develop new knowledge and skills and use new concepts, methods, digital systems and processes to improve performance.
• Ability to provide input to user-story prioritization as appropriate based on new ideas, approaches, and strategies.
• Collaborates with others (incl. virtual) to achieve goals.
• Ability to understand the complexity of business and the role of data and information as an integrated part of the business.
• Develop the business and deliver results.
• Lead and develop people.
• Knowledge of data set processes for data modeling, mining and production, as well as visualization tools including Tableau.
• Knowledge of at least one building block of artificial intelligence.
• Knowledge of machine learning development languages including R and/or Python and other developments in a fast moving data technology landscape e.g. Hive or Hadoop.
• Knowledge of DevOps and agile development practices.
• Exposure to development of industrialized analytical software products.
• Passionate about the possibilities of data and its value for business.
• Deeply motivated to continuously develop and enhance programming skills and knowledge of machine learning and AI applications.
• Energized by working both independently and interdependently with the architecture network and cross functions.
• Appreciate the mix of strategic thinking and turning architecture trends into practice.
Qualifications
• Proven training in computer engineering, computer science, econometrics, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience and knowledge of working with large datasets and distributed computing architectures.
• Knowledge of coding in R and/or Python and development of artificial intelligence applications.
• Experience in statistical analysis and statistical software.
• Experience in data processing and analysis.
• Experience in working in an Agile or DevOps working set-up.
• Experience in software engineering.
• Knowledge of Brand, culture, values and way of working.
Required Skills
• Knowledge of data set processes for data modeling, mining and production.
• Knowledge of machine learning development languages including R and/or Python.
• Knowledge of DevOps and agile development practices.
