Data Scientist
• 3-Month Contract

This is an exciting contract opportunity to join a fast‑moving product team building next‑generation social experiences powered by AI and voice. You will play a pivotal role in shaping product direction through experimentation, activation insights, and high‑impact data work.
The Company:

The Role and Deliverables:
• Own end‑to‑end experimentation for a core product squad, including design, targeting, logging validation, and clear performance recommendations.
• Conduct opportunity sizing and guide roadmap decisions through cohort analysis, historical data exploration, and structured evaluation of feature potential.
• Monitor and investigate activation and retention metrics, identifying trends, diagnosing unexpected changes, and surfacing new opportunities.
• Audit data quality, review production logging, and collaborate with engineers to ensure robust measurement frameworks and complete tracking coverage.
• Deliver exploratory analyses that shape strategic direction and uncover product insights not yet identified by the team.
• Progress toward predictive modelling work, including early identification of churn signals and drivers of long‑term retention.
Your Skills and Experience:
• Strong experience working as a data scientist within product‑focused environments.
• High proficiency in SQL and Python, including the ability to understand production code, investigate logging, and recommend or implement tracking changes.
• Proven capability designing and analysing experiments, with a clear understanding of what makes a rigorous and reliable test.
• Ability to identify impactful questions proactively, translate ambiguous problems into structured analysis, and communicate concise recommendations.
• Skilled in building dashboards and visualisations that drive decision‑making across teams.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast‑moving environment, with a collaborative mindset and a focus on delivering high‑leverage insights.
