Role description
This job is for an experienced Data Scientist / Business Intelligence professional who works at the intersection of data, AI, and business decision-making. In simple terms, this person builds dashboards and reports (mostly in Tableau) that help different teams like Sales, Finance, IT, and Security. Must be able to see and understand their data quickly. They also develop AI and machine learning models to provide predictive insights or enhance these dashboards. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, designing visualizations, preparing and transforming large datasets, and making sure the dashboards run efficiently and securely. They need strong skills in SQL, Tableau, data modeling, data warehousing, and AI/ML, and they must be comfortable handling complex data from multiple sources like Snowflake, Hive, and SparkSQL. Essentially, they translate raw data into actionable insights and predictive analytics while ensuring the underlying systems and dashboards are fast, reliable, and secure.
