Title: Data Scientist

Location: Foster City, CA
Duration: ~6 Months
Responsibilities
• Own a critical data mining link between raw sensor logs and perception training pipelines.
• Prioritize data quality and safety by establishing rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) processes for classified objects.
• Perform root cause analysis on data quality drops or edge-case failures and communicate learnings to the team.
• Define and own Data Quality Objectives that reflect the health and accuracy of perception datasets.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve vehicle autonomy using mined data.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Engineering major with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex data extraction from large-scale databases.
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning principles related to object classification.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical data trends.
Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by WorkGenius.
