The ideal candidate brings deep analytical experience, strong business acumen, and hands‑on expertise with SQL, Python or R, and modern data visualization tools. You will apply statistical and machine learning techniques, build compelling data narratives, and influence stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities
• Lead analytical initiatives that uncover insights and guide strategic decision‑making.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to understand business problems and define analytical approaches.
• Build, validate, and interpret statistical and machine learning models.
• Synthesize complex data into clear, concise insights and recommendations.
• Create intuitive visualizations and presentations using tools such as Tableau.
• Influence decision‑makers through storytelling and evidence‑based insights.
• Act as a thought partner across the organization to drive data‑centric strategies.
Required Skills & Experience
• 10+ years of experience in an Analytics and Strategy role.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to think both strategically and operationally.
• Self‑starter with high energy, strong accountability, and team‑oriented mindset.
• Proven experience partnering with cross‑functional teams and providing actionable data insights.
• Expert proficiency with SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Hands‑on experience with applied statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or Applied Social Sciences.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills & Experience
• Ability to navigate ambiguous problems and design analytical approaches that yield actionable takeaways.
• Demonstrated success leading organization‑wide strategic or transformative analytics initiatives.
• Master’s degree in a quantitative or applied social science field.
• Experience driving analytics impact within fintech, payments, or related industries.
