Role description
Job Title: Data Scientist
Location: Location: Menlo Park, CA (On-site)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
We are seeking a highly experienced Data Scientist to support product launch measurement, generate actionable insights, and drive efficiency through AI-enabled solutions. This role operates in a complex and evolving data environment, requiring strong analytical depth, independence, and the ability to navigate ambiguityβespecially within privacy-focused product areas.
This is an individual contributor role suited for someone who thrives at the intersection of advanced analytics, experimentation, and AI-driven process optimization.
Responsibilities
β’ Apply advanced statistical analysis, machine learning, and mathematical modeling to uncover patterns, identify opportunities, and inform product decisions
β’ Design, build, and evaluate predictive models and algorithms to extract business value from large-scale datasets
β’ Develop and test hypotheses; analyze results from experiments and translate findings into actionable insights
β’ Partner closely with engineering and product teams to transition prototypes into scalable product features
β’ Support experimentation frameworks and launch measurement strategies
β’ Deliver business intelligence and data visualization solutions, including dashboards and ad-hoc analysis
β’ Leverage AI tools and automation techniques to improve analytics workflows and operational efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field
Strong expertise in Python and/or R for data analysis and modeling
Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed data systems
Hands-on experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and experimentation methods (A/B testing)
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or similar platforms)
Experience leveraging AI tools to automate workflows and improve productivity
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in ads measurement, privacy, or regulated data environments
Exposure to causal inference, experimental design, and product analytics
Proven track record of influencing product or business decisions through data
Education:
Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
