Job Title: Solution Architect – Data Location: Louisville, Kentucky USA (Hybrid ) Duration :: Contract Must-Have Skills • AWS • Databricks • PySpark • Notebooks, UNITY Catalog Nice-to-Have Skills (Not Mandatory) • Informatica • MIDAS • Commercial Insurance Case Management/IAG background Soft Skills • Excellent verbal and written communication • Stakeholder management • Ability to guide processes • Detail-oriented, hands-on, proficient with Excel and email forms --- Qualifying Questions • How many AWS/Databricks projects have you worked on and in what roles? • What is your level of expertise with Databricks, PySpark, Notebooks, and UNITY Catalog? • How many projects have you led as a Databricks lead? • Are you open to working onsite 3 days a week? --- Role Summary Support assessors and analysts by consolidating and structuring risk data, aiming to standardize and digitize unstructured information for better accessibility. --- Key Responsibilities • Collect and organize risk data from unstructured sources. • Build digital forms and workflows for consistent data capture. • Maintain and update central databases/data lakes (e.g., Databricks, AWS, Informatica, MIDAS). • Ensure smooth data flow across teams and systems. • Drive data maturity by improving processes for decision-making utility. --- Job Description Seeking a Reference Data Specialist to support large-scale data and analytics initiatives in a global organization, focused on enhancing data quality, governance, and standardization. # Duties • Translate business data needs into technical requirements. • Analyze and align data ecosystems with strategic goals. • Work with data governance teams on standards and remediation. • Develop and maintain data dictionaries and classifications. • Support data quality by identifying and addressing issues. • Document data definitions, rules, and standards. # Requirements • Experience in data design, management, or governance. • Strong knowledge of governance principles and reference data. • Effective stakeholder communication and collaboration. • Familiarity with data modeling/design and platforms like Databricks. # Preferred • Financial services or large enterprise experience. • Knowledge of Agile/SDLC methodologies. • Hands-on skills with profiling, querying (Oracle, DB2, Databricks), and visualization tools. • Ability to manage priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
