Role description
Job Specifications: Role: Product Delivery Manager III Pay Rate: $70.68/hour on w2 Duration: 12 Months Assignment Location: Rosemead, CA 91770 (Hybrid) Eligibility: US Citizen & Green Card only Responsibilities: • Provide ongoing operational support for the Grid Resiliency portfolio, including management of PSPS application builds in Palantir Foundry. • Develop, manage, and maintain high-quality modular code within Foundry Code Repositories and Function Repositories, including reusable transform logic, shared libraries, version control, branching strategies, code reviews, and distributed execution optimization. • Implement, configure, integrate, and support Palantir Foundry software, SaaS solutions, and public cloud-based PaaS environments. • Maintain and support pipelines, ETL processes, ontology governance, access management, change processes, and quality control activities. • Develop, configure, integrate, and support application system components including databases, data marts, data warehouses, middleware, analytics platforms, and BI reporting tools. • Provide Foundry architectural governance expertise, including ontology design, governance, pipeline and DAG execution architecture aligned with SCE standards. • Configure application systems and collaborate with infrastructure service providers to enable secure external and third-party access. • Develop, enhance, integrate, and maintain workshops, dashboards, pipeline builders, Quiver dashboards, automations, and end-to-end business functionality. • Collaborate with third-party providers, infrastructure teams, and Edison enterprise public cloud providers to support integrated enterprise service delivery models. • Deliver application maintenance services including system enhancements, new application development, break/fix support, patch releases, defect resolution, and deployment of approved enhancements. • Document and maintain methodologies, policies, processes, OLAs, RACIs, and operational interaction models related to ADM activities. • Ensure compliance with PSPS wildfire guidelines, CPUC guidelines, and required service level standards. • Support compute agents, hosting infrastructure, operational services, and deployment lifecycle management required for reliable Palantir Foundry operations. • Optimize application system operations, functionality, workload efficiency, compute consumption, storage utilization, and pipeline execution costs using Foundry Resource Management tools. • Deliver Agile/DevOps-based application maintenance services and drive continual application portfolio optimization and rationalization. Required Skills/Attributes Technical: • Software engineering experience • Strong full-stack fundamentals with depth in data platforms • Experience designing and maintaining applications • Proficiency in Python and Typescript • Understanding of data pipeline architecture • Familiarity with Palantir Foundry • Ability to own technical outcomes end to end without close supervision • Willingness and ability to participate in on call rotation, including occasional off hours response • Ability to perform root cause analysis and drive post-incident improvements • Experience with front end design (Palantir Foundry Workshop preferred) Operational: • Experience making architectural trade off decisions • Ability to identify risks early and escalate appropriately • Strong communication skills for stakeholder updates • Comfortable working through ambiguous problems in live production environments • Ability to communicate incident status clearly to stakeholders • Comfortable making high stakes decisions under time pressure • Experience in complex operational workflows with tight support timelines Desired Skills/Attributes • Technical Experience in data engineering or related roles • Experience with Python for data processing and pipeline development • Strong proficiency in Python including frameworks like PySpark or Polars • Experience with Foundry Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, or Data Connection • Familiarity with Ontology design and object based data modeling • Understanding of data lineage and impact analysis • Ability to troubleshoot pipeline failures and performance issues • Experience translating business logic into pipeline implementations • Willingness and ability to participate in on call rotation, including occasional off hours response • Ability to assess downstream impact of data issues and communicate appropriately • Business Functional Knowledge/Utility experience (Great resiliency focus) Applicant Notices & Disclaimers • For information on benefits, equal opportunity employment, and location-specific applicant notices, click here At SPECTRAFORCE, we are committed to maintaining a workplace that ensures fair compensation and wage transparency in adherence with all applicable state and local laws.
