Role description
Location: Duncan SC Pay rate: $27-$32/hr Job Type: ongoing contract with high likelihood for conversion to FTE Overview: Our client is seeking a Data Collection Specialist to support their technical engineering team by collecting, analyzing, and organizing power consumption data across multiple facilities. This role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and advanced in Excel. Responsibilities: • The data collection associate will communicate trends and analysis through use of KPIs and reports to outside vendors and internal contacts • The data collection associate will be responsible for collecting data from a variety of sources • The data collection associate will input data result into Excel and other software. • Perform basic data collection duties, such as, completing log sheets, transferring, and uploading collected data, and adhering to security measures to protect the data during collection and during transfer. • The data associate will have expertise in data analysis and reporting, mainly using advanced Excel skills Qualifications: • Must have good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office • Must have advanced experience working in Excel. • VBA experienced preferred. Power BI is a plus! • Experience with analytical data, input and output • Good verbal and written skills • Lean Six Sigma preferred • Experience using root cause analysis and similar methods • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
