β’ We are seeking a Data Strategy Lead to define and drive the modernisation of enterprise data platforms within corporate banking. The role combines data platform strategy, architectural guidance, and AI/ML enablement to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions aligned with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Define and own the data platform strategy and roadmap.
β’ Provide architectural guidance for cloud-native and Lakehouse platforms.
β’ Lead migration from legacy data warehouses to modern platforms.
β’ Drive performance, scalability, resilience, and FinOps optimisation.
β’ Enable AI/ML platforms, including MLOps and model lifecycle.
β’ Guide solutions from PoC to production using reusable patterns.
β’ Define standards for batch, streaming, APIs, and data services.
β’ Ensure compliance with data governance, lineage, quality, and GDPR.
β’ Act as a trusted advisor to business, engineering, and risk stakeholders.
β’ Collaborate with Product Owners, System Teams, and Agile Release Trains.
Skills & Experience
β’ 10+ yearsβ experience in data engineering or data architecture.
β’ Strong experience with cloud or hybrid data platforms.
β’ Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, ETL/ELT (Informatica).
β’ Strong Python and SQL skills.
β’ Experience with Delta Lake, Iceberg, and relational/NoSQL databases.
