Role description
Objective We need a dedicated Data Engineer to: • Support the legacy pipeline (Snowflake-dbt) while the core team focuses on the high-priority migration to a Medallion Architecture. • Manage the #data channel queue, diagnosing and troubleshooting incoming issues while handling small, agile requirements—such as adding columns to existing models—to keep the business running smoothly. • Technical Bridge: Act as a link between the legacy system and the new Medallion Architecture team, ensuring that operational fixes are documented and eventually integrated into the new platform. What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who is mission-driven and thrives in a high-impact, fast-paced environment: • Strong Communication skills • 3+ years of related experience as a Data Engineer or similar role • 3+ years of experience in data engineering and pipeline development using Snowflake • Technical expertise with data pipelines, API management, data models, and data warehouses • Hands-on experience with SQL database design • Experience troubleshooting tickets in Jira. • Deep knowledge of Snowflake and Technical debt. You should be comfortable jumping into complex, established codebases to find and fix issues. • Analytical Problem-Solving: A strong ability to diagnose root causes in data pipelines and translate technical issues into actionable insights for stakeholders.
