β’ Overview:
We are seeking a Data Warehouse Developer who will support our client. The ideal candidate will be skilled in the design and development of enterprise data warehouse solutions, including dimensional data models, complex ETL processes, and database objects to support business intelligence needs. This role will be responsible for creating comprehensive OBIEE analytics including dashboards, reports, and repository development while ensuring data security, quality, and optimal performance across the data warehouse environment.
Duties
β’ Design and develop data warehouse solutions using star schema and relational data modeling methodologies
β’ Write complex SQL queries and build ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from source systems
β’ Develop and maintain the OBIEE repository (RPD), including physical layer objects, business model mappings, and data joins
β’ Create interactive dashboards, scorecards, and analytical reports in the OBIEE presentation layer
β’ Develop formatted reports using BI/XML Publisher for standardized business reporting
β’ Implement Oracle security frameworks using roles, privileges, and policies to control data access
β’ Write Unix/Linux shell scripts to automate ETL jobs, scheduling, and data warehouse operations
β’ Optimize data warehouse performance and ensure data quality and integrity across systems
Mandatory Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of development experience in data warehouse β including data modeling, writing complex SQL, and development of export, transform and load (ETL) processes.
β’ 5+ years of experience in database design and modeling for data warehouse and business intelligence applications, including relational database structures, normal forms, and star schema data modeling.
β’ 5+ years of experience modeling data, creating objects, and building joins in the physical and business model mapping layers of the OBIEE RPD.
β’ 5+ years of experience developing user interfaces in the OBIEE presentation layer β including building dashboards, scorecards, and analyses, as well as changing OBIEE page layouts and styles.
β’ 5+ years of experience developing OBIEE reports in BI/XML Publisher.
Desirable Qualifications:
β’ Experience architecting and implementing Oracle Security using users, roles, object and system privileges, application contexts, Virtual Private Database and associated policies.
β’ Experience using OWB to create complex ETL processes.
β’ Experience programming using Unix or LINUX korn shell scripting language, preferably using IBM AIX or RHEL.
β’ Experience performing ETL development using Attunity Compose.
