• Strong SQL skills (T-SQL or equivalent)
• Experience with NHS data models and datasets
• Expertise in data modelling and database design
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles
• Hands-on experience with database administration
Desirable
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and information standards within the NHS
• Experience with big data or modern data platforms (e.g., data lakes, lakehouses)

• Strong leadership and team management capability
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
