Job Title: Data & AI Engineer (Healthcare) CST AND EST Preferred
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data & AI Engineer to join our healthcare technology team. This blended role combines the strengths of Data Engineering, Data Science, and AI/ML Engineering, with a focus on building scalable data pipelines, driving predictive analytics, and implementing next-generation AI solutions. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with modern cloud platforms, automation, and Generative AI (LLMs) to enable smarter, data-driven healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows for structured and unstructured healthcare data
• Develop, train, and deploy ML/AI models for forecasting, automation, and advanced analytics
• Leverage tools like Vertex AI, Databricks, PySpark, and Python to build scalable and efficient solutions
• Implement LLM-based solutions to enhance patient insights, automate processes, and support clinical decision-making
• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for predictive modeling and AI-driven automation
• Ensure data quality, compliance, and security standards in line with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, PHI, etc.)
Required Skills & Experience:
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark
• Strong experience with Vertex AI, Databricks, or other cloud-based ML platforms
• Background in data pipeline design, ETL, and workflow automation
• Hands-on experience building, training, and deploying ML/AI models (forecasting, classification, NLP)
• Familiarity with Generative AI and LLMs for applied use cases
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards (EHR, claims, HL7, FHIR) is a strong plus, but not needed.
• Strong communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
