Database Administrator
Database Administrator I Major Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of database server software and related products.
Monitor database systems to ensure availability and performance.
Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including backups, recovery, and performance tuning.
Support the development of data models and database designs.
Create and maintain documentation for databases and reports.
Monitor and enforce database access controls.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding data privacy and security.
Assist in the development and execution of disaster recovery plans.
Provide support for database-related issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
Stay updated with the latest database technologies and industry best practices.
Propose and implement improvements to database systems and processes.
Eagerly performs other tasks as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
Experience Required:1. SQL Server Installation and Implementation2. AG, DR, HA3. ETL & SSIS4. PowerBIPrefer any certification on cloud tech related to DBA
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $41.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
