Role description
Database Administrator Mac Dill, FL Neeeds Active TS/SCI Long Term 100% onsite work This is a technical position responsible for managing complex database environments, ensuring data integrity and availability, optimizing performance, and implementing robust security and compliance measures. This position requires knowledge and experience in major database management systems, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. Database Administrator - Tier 3 role demonstrates the ability to pay keen attention to detail, possess a strong customer service orientation and have the ability to work as part of a team. ยท Design and Architecture: Design, install, configure, and maintain secure and scalable database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) in on-premises and cloud environments. ยท Availability: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot high availability/disaster recovery solutions such as failover-cluster instances and availability groups. ยท Performance: The administrator should have experience in DBMS performance optimization and be able to identify and resolve performance issues. ยท Security: The administrator should have a deep understanding of DBMS security and be able to implement and maintain administrative and technical controls. Requirements: ยท DoD 8570 IAT II Certification ยท DoD TS/SCI clearance Highly Desired: ยท MCSE: Data Management & Analytics (or ) ยท Oracle Certified Professional (or) ยท Azure Database Administrator Associate ยท Collaboration: The administrator should be able to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other administrators, engineers, and stakeholders across multiple time zones. ยท Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. ยท Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the organization in the cloud and on-premises environments. ยท Possess a continuous learning mindset and be comfortable with adapting to new technologies and best practices in cloud and on-premise environments.
