Database Architect
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data warehouse solutions that effectively support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling, database management, and the ability to analyze complex data sets to provide actionable insights. The Data Warehouse Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that data architecture aligns with organizational goals.
Duties
Design and implement robust data warehouse architectures that support data integration and reporting needs.
Develop and maintain data models that accurately represent business processes and requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Optimize database performance through effective indexing, partitioning, and query optimization techniques.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can drive business decisions.
Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
Provide technical leadership in the selection of tools and technologies for data warehousing solutions.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data management, analytics, and cloud technologies.
Experience
84 months experience working with Agency/business subject matter experts to understand business needs/requirements, Vendors of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, and ITS teams to determine and design data warehouse, application and system requirements.
84 months experience architecting, designing, documenting, and implementing data warehousing, enterprise application integration, and master data management.
84 months experience data modeling and designing normalized Data Warehouse environments for enterprise level applications; and, implementing those designs using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Extract, Transform, Load technologies
84 months experience developing data integrations for heterogeneous systems and business intelligence using SQL (Structured Query Language).
72 months experience performing database comparative analysis for designing new transactional databases and data warehouses, as well as improvements in existing transactional databases and data warehouses.
60 months experience in computation and presentation of data to solve business problems.
48 months experience implementing systematic Data Error/Recovery and Cleanup procedures
48 months experience working in building DataLake, Data Mart, Data Model using ERWIN or any other tool for Self Service BI Reports

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
