Database Developer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Database Developer. Responsibilities: • Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources into OLAP data stores, ensuring data integrity and consistency • Bring an innovative spirit in search of efficiencies, process improvement opportunities, technical improvements, and other ways to add value to the organization with focus on operations improvement • Implement best practices in data security, role-based access control, and data masking to maintain compliance and data governance standards • Design scalable data models, optimized for data ingestion and analytics requirements including SCD Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent • 8+ years of relevant experience in database development • 8+ years hands-on RDBMS expertise (Oracle, Exadata, PostgreSQL) • Extensive hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, SnapLogic) • Expertise in Data Analysis, Data Profiling and Data Modeling skills • Knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies and concepts • Extensive experience with PL/SQL, database stored procedures, and performance tuning • Proficiency in Python • Proficiency with python for data movement/transformation including development of classes and object-oriented code • Familiar with complex batch cycle orchestration (tools like Control-M, Autosys or Crontab) • Knowledge of Cloud platforms and Services (AWS - IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) • Knowledge of data streaming tools like Kafka, Kinesis • Design experience of scalable data models, optimized for data ingestion and analytics requirements including SCD • Experience developing and automating deployment with GIT, Jenkins, and CICD Processes The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
