Database Developer

• Design robust databases solutions to ensure stability, reliability, and performance. • Collaborate with IT and Business teams to document requirements that will be used design, develop, test, and promote database solutions • Deliver solutions based on industry standards: OLAP – data lake, data mart, etc.; OLTP – applications, master data management, etc. • Proficient at developing ETL processes (especially SSIS) and enterprise reports (SSRS) • Refactor existing database objects to support enhancements of system standards, performance tuning, and evolving requirements. • Investigate and support new technology initiatives to improve or enhance current database capabilities. • Improve application's performances • Prepare documentation and SOP’s for database solutions according to team standards • Maintain all programming in source control solution. • Learn new applications, languages, and development techniques as needed. • Support projects and deliver solutions across data team, front end programmers and customer support as needed. • Be available, as needed, for urgent production support issues or after hours project deployments Requirements: • B. S. in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent skills work experience • 3+ years of hands-on experience with database technologies like ETL and programming experience • 3+ years working in database DDL, DML and concepts (table, triggers, views, procedures, functions, packages, …), SQL languages, Modeling (SQLmodeler, ERWIN, TOAD), Data extraction, Shell scripting. • Experience with database version control through Git or equivalent
