Database Developer
Salary: $44.00 to $51.00 hourly
Description
We are looking for an experienced Database Developer to join our team in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and optimizing database solutions that support critical business processes. This position is ideal for someone with a solid background in database management systems and a passion for leveraging data to drive insights.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and other tools.
• Create and automate ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements for database solutions.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Implement and manage cloud-based database technologies.
• Support data science initiatives by integrating and managing data sources.
• Perform AB testing and analyze results to inform business decisions.
• Monitor and refresh data processes on hourly, daily, and nightly schedules.
• Document technical processes and procedures to ensure system reliability.
Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in database development and management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools such as Informatica.
• Expertise in working with cloud technologies and data science management.
• Familiarity with creating dashboards and business intelligence solutions.
• Ability to write and maintain Business Requirement Documents.
• Proven experience in applied data science and managing large data sets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support business needs.
