Our client, a leading organization in enterprise technology solutions, is seeking a Database Engineer 3 - Contingent to join their team. As a Database Engineer 3 - Contingent, you will be part of the Database Management Operations supporting critical data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Database Engineer 3 - Contingent Location: Phoenix, AZ / Charlotte, NC / Irving, TX - Hybrid What's the Job? • Design and support highly complex MongoDB, EDB PostgreSQL, and YugabyteDB databases. • Lead data modeling, mapping, integration, and capacity planning efforts for core databases. • Perform planning, research, design, implementation, and maintenance of server-class databases. • Develop and implement security solutions aligned with industry benchmarks and compliance standards. • Collaborate with management and clients to resolve database challenges and influence strategic data initiatives. What's Needed? • 4+ years of experience in Database Engineering or related roles, demonstrating technical expertise. • Hands-on experience with at least two of the core databases: MongoDB, EDB PostgreSQL, YugabyteDB. • Strong Python scripting skills for automation and operational support. • Ability to work independently and manage complex projects with minimal oversight. • Knowledge of database security standards, high availability, and replication solutions.
