You will contribute to large-scale planning, analyze and resolve challenges, and collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables. This role involves working on medium-to-high profile database and database services projects, focusing on analytics, operational reporting, and Microsoft technology stack solutions, including Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Responsibilities: • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Database Engineering. • Review and analyze moderately complex Database Engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors. • Contribute to the resolution of issues and consult with others to meet deliverables while adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. • Provide analysis and design support for data-related projects and enhancements across all SDLC environments, including problem tickets, work requests, root cause analysis, and issue resolution paths. • Partner closely with technology teams, resources, and business partners to address compliance, performance, security, stability, scalability, and speed to market. • Manage complex Always On configurations with SQL Server 2019 - 2022. • Communicate ongoing support and deployment of data architecture and policy principles to improve enterprise data usage. • Recommend, mentor, train, and monitor resource allocations, project skills alignment, and resource forecasting. • Develop and maintain documentation on implementation steps, technical procedures, and knowledge base materials. Qualifications: • 4+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, Always On, and SSIS (including SSISDB). Desired Qualifications: • Experience with ServiceNow. • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation. • Ability to work onsite 3 days per week (hybrid schedule). • Must be within a commutable distance of the working location. • No visa transfer or sponsorship available for this role.
