Database Engineer Contractor

Job Description: As a Database Engineer Contractor, you will design, develop, and optimize database systems to support data storage, retrieval, and analysis. Design and construct large relational databases to meet project requirements. Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate new systems with existing data warehouse structures. Optimize database performance by refining system functionality and ensuring efficient data retrieval. Implement and enforce database security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality. Perform regular data validation and quality checks to ensure database accuracy and reliability. Primary Skill Required for the Role: SQL DW Additional Skills Requested for Role (Optional): • Informatica Power Center - Intermediate (34-5 years experience) • AWS - Amazon Web Services - Entry level (0-2 years experience) Level Required for Primary Skill: 3 years experience Mandatory Skills & Experience: • OLTP Systems: Proven experience designing and supporting highly scalable OLTP architectures. • Azure Cloud Data Technologies • Azure Cosmos DB: Expertise in modeling, scaling, and optimizing distributed databases.\\ • Azure SQL: Strong knowledge of relational database design, performance tuning, and security in Azure SQL environments. • Azure Data Factory: Hands-on background with data integration workflows, data pipelines, and ETL/ELT processes. • Azure Databricks: Experience with big data analytics, Spark-based processing, and collaborative development on Databricks. • Redis: Familiarity with in-memory data structures and high-throughput caching solutions.
