About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Databricks Analyst to support data analytics and financial reporting initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong finance or accounting background who has hands-on experience leveraging Databricks for data transformation, analysis, and reporting.
You will work cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to build scalable data solutions, enhance reporting capabilities, and drive data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and analytical workflows in Databricks
β’ Perform data extraction, transformation, and validation across financial systems
β’ Build dashboards, reports, and financial models to support FP&A and accounting functions
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
β’ Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance standards are met
β’ Support automation of financial reporting processes
β’ Document processes, data flows, and technical solutions
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
β’ 3β5 years of hands-on experience using Databricks
β’ Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and reporting processes
β’ Experience with SQL and data modeling
β’ Experience working with large datasets and structured/unstructured data
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience supporting FP&A, controllership, or audit functions
β’ Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
β’ Experience integrating ERP or financial systems with Databricks
β’ Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
