Qualifications
US Citizenship Required
• Experience implementing data solutions on the Databricks Data Intelligence platform, to include Delta Lakes
• Experience with SQL and Python
• Experience leading workstreams or small teams, within complex technology engagements with resources in multiple locations
Microsoft Certificates highly preferred
Strong knowledge of Azure Databricks
Good knowledge of Azure Data Factory or Synapse
• Experience utilizing data warehousing methodologies and processes
• Knowledge and experience of dimensional modeling
• Ability to create both logical and physical data models
• Ability to tune databases for maximum performance
• Develop unit, system, and integration test plans and manage execution
• Ability to analyze and evaluate moderate to highly complex information systems by being able to interpret such devices as Entity Relation Diagrams, data dictionaries, record layouts, and logic flow diagrams
• Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
• Work in a data warehouse environment that includes data design, database architecture, and metadata and repository creation
• Review data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy
• Responsible for the development, maintenance and support of an enterprise data warehouse system and corresponding data marts
• Troubleshoot and tune existing data warehouse applications
• Conduct research into new data warehouse applications and determine viability for adoption
• Assist in establishing development standards
• Evaluate existing subject areas stored in the data warehouse
• Work on technical efforts related to DataBricks and Unity Catalog
