We are seeking a skilled DataFlex Engineer to develop, maintain, and support enterprise business applications built on the DataFlex platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in database-driven application development, system integration, troubleshooting, and maintaining legacy systems while supporting modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using DataFlex.
• Design and manage database structures and queries.
• Integrate DataFlex applications with SQL databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support.
• Optimize application performance and database operations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with business users, QA teams, and other developers.
• Support migration or modernization of legacy DataFlex systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong experience with DataFlex / Visual DataFlex development.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle databases.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with Windows-based enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with web application development and API integration.
