Location: Dallas, TX 75243, 3 days a week onsite (you chose days and times)

Job Description: We are seeking a hands-on Azure DevOps Engineer with strong data engineering experience to support our data platform initiatives. This role will focus on managing CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and supporting the migration of data systems from SQL Server to Azure, with a future transition to Microsoft Fabric.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and release processes using Azure DevOps
• Support deployment and release management for data platforms and applications
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure smooth build, test, and release cycles
• Work hands-on with SQL, Python, Spark, and PySpark to support data workflows
• Support migration from SQL Server to Azure, and future transition to Microsoft Fabric
• Monitor and optimize system performance and cloud costs
• Develop and support proof of concepts (POCs) and new solutions
• Troubleshoot deployment and data-related issues across environments
• Support end users and ensure system reliability and stability
Required Skills & Experience:
• 4–5+ years of experience in Azure DevOps / CI/CD and release management
• Strong understanding of release processes, versioning, and deployment strategies
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, releases)
• SQL Server
• Python
• Spark / PySpark
• Experience supporting data platforms or data engineering teams
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Pluses:
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Experience in healthcare domain
• Exposure to AI tools (e.g., Anthropic Claude)
