We have partnered with our client in their search for a DB2 Database developer for a 12 month contract in Jersey City, NJ or Plano, TX. Responsibilities • Responsible for DB2 performance tuning. • Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms • Must be able to assemble technology solutions and effectively define and implement a working architecture Skills Required • 10+ experience with DB2 and/or IMS performance tuning involving buffer pools, storage groups, coupling facility structures, SQL, REORGs, ZPARMs and image copies • Understanding or having experience with agile and lean philosophies • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication • Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals Nice To Have Skills • Experience on IBM Replication tools: IMS/IMS Replication, IMS KAFKA Replication QREP /CDC, IBM Program Product installation experience - SMP/e (Software Management Program/ extended) Education & Work Experience • Bachelor's or equivalent • 8+ years Title DB2 Database Developer Location Jersey City, NJ Client Industry FinTech Compensation $60-75/hr About Korn Ferry Korn Ferry unleashes potential in people, teams, and organizations.
