Role description
Job Title: Decision Support AdministratorLocation: Remote
The designated professional will support the user community in utilizing business intelligence and OLAP tools to query databases and generate reports. Key responsibilities include:
Extracting and collecting data for queries and report writing.
Reviewing query performance and implementing necessary changes.
Designing reports and creating user documentation.
Monitoring customer usage and upgrading enterprise-wide reporting tools.
Ensuring interoperability, security, and metadata coordination for the production system.
Core Competencies:
Economic Analysis: Applying quantitative methods to workforce trends and labor market dynamics.
Data Analytics: Proficiency in advanced statistical techniques, econometrics, and predictive modeling using large datasets.
Policy Evaluation: Assessing the economic impact of workforce programs and providing evidence-based recommendations.
Technical Communication: Translating complex data into dashboards, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
Project Management: Managing research projects from design to completion.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge of micro/macroeconomics, WIOA policies (including Floridaβs REACH Act), and longitudinal data analysis.
Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Stata, Python), data visualization tools, and database management.
Ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively under tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
Associateβs or Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; OR
A minimum of seven (7) years of IT experience, including five (5) years in business intelligence systems and/or five (5) years in economic/statistical analysis.
Performance & Compliance:
Background Screening: As this is a position of special trust, the selected candidate must pass a Level 2 background screening (including FDLE/FBI fingerprinting) prior to assignment.
Standards: Services must meet professional standards prevalent among IT professionals in Florida. The Contractor is responsible for all training and licensing costs.
