Role description
Job Title: Delegated Authority Technician (FTC) Type: Fixed Term Contract Reports to: Delegated Authority Data Manager Purpose of the Role Support the organisations Delegated Authority (DA) initiatives, focusing on data collection and quality assurance to ensure accurate reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities • Ensure timely receipt and validation of Risk, Premium, and Claims bordereaux. • Review bordereaux and perform gap analysis to improve data quality. • Maintain accurate DDM records, including entering endorsements. • Assist with Lloyd’s platforms (DDM, DCOM) for data processing and issue resolution. • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders (Brokers, Coverholders, DCAs). • Support DA data oversight, including Risk Level Data for RDS exercises. • Provide updates and escalate overdue bordereaux when needed. • Participate in DA forums and system testing for Lloyd’s releases. Skills & Competencies • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. • Good knowledge of delegated authority and bordereaux data (preferred). • Understanding of the Lloyd’s market and DA processes. • Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel. • Strong communication and stakeholder management. • Analytical, organised, and self-motivated. • Willingness to learn and improve processes.
