Job#: 3042206 Job Description: Delphix Data Masking Engineer Location: Raleigh, NC (Remote) Role Overview This is a senior-level position focused on architecting, implementing, and optimizing data masking solutions using Delphix. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure sensitive data in non-production environments is secured through robust masking techniques and virtualization strategies. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement data masking and virtualization solutions using Delphix. • Develop and optimize masking algorithms for sensitive data types like PII, PHI, and PCI. • Deploy and configure Delphix masking engines across various database platforms, including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and DB2. • Establish data masking templates, rulesets, and policies for repeatable processes. • Monitor performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot Delphix masking and virtualization jobs. • Ensure masking solutions comply with enterprise policies and regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA. • Collaborate with development, testing, and infrastructure teams on data requirements and masking implementations. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. • Maintain detailed documentation for masking processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures. • Investigate and resolve incidents related to data masking failures. Required Qualifications Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required. Experience: 5+ years of experience in data protection, encryption, or related roles is required. Candidates must have hands on experience with data masking within Delphix. Technical Skills: Deep expertise in encryption technologies such as Oracle TDE and SQL Server encryption, as well as TLS configurations, is required. Proven experience with Delphix data masking and virtualization tools, including custom algorithm development, is also required. Preferred Qualifications • Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills. • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Oracle Database Security certifications.
