Role description
Our client, consumer packaged foods industry is seeking a Demand Analytics Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have Advanced Power BI (dashboard creation skills) and the ability to interact with cross functional teams,which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Demand Analytics Specialist
Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ (Hybrid: 2 days a week onsite Tues/Weds)
Contract: 6 Months (extensions possible)
Pay Range: $35 - $40 hourly (possibly more for well qualified candidates)

β’ More Technical Role: Work cross functionally between Demand Planning and the Digital Team: Shape the baseline forecast that fuels our monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring teams begin with a strong and data grounded starting point.
β’ Interrogate and strengthen forecasting models using input stress tests, model diagnostics, and structured root cause analysis.
β’ Continuously elevate item and site level forecast accuracy through daily, weekly, and monthly Demand Analytics routines and partner with Planning Excellence, One Forecast, and Analytics teams to influence model improvements and machine learning interpretability
β’ Monitor forecast performance and l ead continuous improvement workstreams that address cross category patterns and systematically reduce forecast error implementing AI agents (working with AI Developer Team) to support analysis
β’ Apply innovation mindset to strengthen forecasting performance through mastering current technologies and pioneering new ones creating Power BI visualizations of data from multiple sources.
What We're Looking For
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain, Data Engineering, Business Analytics, -OR- Equivalent experience.
β’ 2-5 years of experience in Planning Analytics.
β’ Required: Advanced Power BI (build/create dashboard skills)
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with AI and data visualization capabilities; machine learning forecasting is asset for this job, data engineering
β’ Strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills-across functions and levels and a track record of accountability, coaching others, breakthrough problem solving, and end to end Supply Chain thinking
