Demo Engineer

TITLE: Demo Engineer ANTICIPATION DURATON: 5+ Months LOCATION: San Jose, CA About the Role: We’re seeking a Software-focused Demo Engineer to support high-profile demo experiences that showcase cutting-edge technology across XR, Android, and connected device platforms. This role centers on configuring, validating, and troubleshooting software builds for demo environments while collaborating closely with product and QA teams. A solid software engineering background is key, and familiarity with hardware integration or XR systems is a strong plus. What You’ll Do: • Own the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of demo systems spanning XR, Android, and connected devices. • Validate and update software builds to ensure smooth operation and performance during live demos. • Provide on-site and real-time technical support during executive or event demos. • Collaborate with Engineering and QA teams to identify bugs, file and track issues using Buganizer, and test fixes. • Create and maintain technical documentation and setup guides for repeatable and scalable demo processes. What We’re Looking For: • 3+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, QA, or technical demo environments. • Strong background in software builds, debugging, and troubleshooting (Android experience preferred). • Familiarity with device configuration, firmware updates, or hardware integration is a plus. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. • Self-starter with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently. • Experience using internal tools such as Buganizer or similar issue-tracking systems. • Bonus: Scripting or automation experience (Python, Bash, etc.) to streamline setup or QA workflows. The hourly pay rate range for this position is $122.14 to $141.22 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
