Role description
Design Automation Specialist Location: Chandler, AZ Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid – 3 days onsite/week Contract Details • Position Type: Contract • Contract Duration: 3 months • Start: ASAP • Pay Rate: $44.05–$50.63 / Hour (USD) • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Required Skills • Extensive experience as a design tool administration lead on large scale projects required. • Extensive experience implementing, administrating, and helping Computer Aided 3D Design applications e.g., Autodesk BIM 360 and/or Hexagon S3D • Experience with Autodesk BIM 360 and/or Hexagon S3D implementing interfaces with peripheral applications • Experience with Visual Basic 6, Microsoft .NET, COM/.NET, Microsoft SQL server setup / administration, and Client/Server architecture of Windows. • Should be a quick learner and able to adapt to changing priorities. • Ability to work under pressure and respond to requests from projects on very short notice • Must be willing to travel for business. Preferred Skills • Prior consulting experience implementing Autodesk BIM 360 and/or Hexagon S3D and supporting installation, configuration and customization is preferred. • Prior work experience and performed CAD support on a medium or major sized project in an engineering discipline. • Knowledge of Engineering Department Procedures. • Experience in coordinating with global execution teams and offices. • Prior experience in planning and executing greenfield or brownfield projects in one or more of the following market segments: Semiconductor, Electric Vehicle, Battery, or Data Center.
