Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract to Hire with a client in Waltham, MA. Responsible for building and deploying scalable applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Rate Range: $44/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Developer Job Responsibilities Include • Design and develop scalable applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure secure, efficient data exchange. • Deploy and manage cloud solutions leveraging AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB). • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Gradle for automated deployments. • Utilize containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for application scalability. • Ensure compliance with security best practices and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 8–10 years of experience in software development and cloud-based solutions. • Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB) and containerization/orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
